The Project on Aerial Thermography for the city of Rheinbach by EUROSENSE Germany and TÜV Rheinland has been shortlisted for the German Innovation Price for Climate Protection And Environment. From ~100 applications the 15 most interesting proposals have been selected by a technical jury led by Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer (former German Ministre of Environment). The developed methodology combines aerial thermography and database management within an innovative approach, enabling each house owner of the city to get the individual thermal cut-out of his house. The winners of all 5 categories will be informed within the next 2-3 weeks.
